Who we are

Daily Drolls is a small, independent editorial team, not a large newsroom. Our writers cover a consistent set of beats rather than a different byline for every article — see each author's page for what they cover.

Reporting, analysis, and opinion

We draw a clear line between three kinds of content. Reported and analytical articles represent our editorial team's best effort to describe what's actually true, based on the sources cited within them. Opinion and commentary pieces, published under our Opinion section, are explicitly labeled as such and reflect the views of their individual author — not an institutional position of Daily Drolls.

Sourcing standards

Factual claims and statistics in our articles are meant to trace to a real, checkable source — government agencies, peer-reviewed research, official company documentation, or established news organizations, linked directly within the article. We prefer primary sources over secondary reporting where a primary source exists. We do not fabricate statistics, studies, quotations, or experts, and we do not present invented scenarios as factual reporting.

Where credible sources disagree or where the evidence is genuinely mixed, we try to say so rather than presenting one figure as settled fact.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions — what we cover and what we say about it — are made independently of advertising or any other commercial relationship. If Daily Drolls ever carries advertising, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such and kept separate from our editorial coverage.
